How to Use & Maintain
🔹 How to Use & Maintain
Setup is Simple. The Benefits Are Profound.
ThrivePlunge tubs are designed to make cold therapy accessible at home, without the complicated setup or high-maintenance routines of traditional plunge systems. Here's how to get started:
🧊 Getting Started
Step 1: Fill Your Tub
Use a garden hose or water source to fill your plunge. Filtered water is ideal, but standard tap water works just fine.
Step 2: Cool It Down
If you’re using one of our chillers, connect the hose system, plug in the unit, and let it bring the water to your target temperature (typically 50–59°F). If you’re using ice, add several pounds and stir until the temp is evenly distributed.
Step 3: Breathe & Plunge
Before entering, take a few deep breaths to calm your system. Step in slowly. Let your body adjust. Focus on your breath. Set a timer and stay in as long as you're comfortable.
Step 4: Dry Off & Recover
After the plunge, dry off and let your body naturally warm up — don’t rush it. This is when your parasympathetic nervous system kicks in, bringing calm and recovery.
